About the Tarot
The tarot deck contains 78 cards, depicting life and aspects of personal growth and spiritual development. These are grouped into two categories: Major Arcana and Minor Arcana. The Major Arcana are 22 cards numbered with Roman numerals each card bearing a name. These major arcana represent stsignificantages of life and the spiritual journey of the soul. The Minor Arcana are the remaining 56 cards, split into four suits: cups, wands, pentacles, and swords. Each suit has four court cards: a king, queen, knight, and paige, as well as numerical cards from one to ten. Blended together, the 78 cards are intended to represent all the possible cycles of life and experiences that one might encounter.

Tarot cards have been used to explore the questioner's journey through life, or through many lifetimes. They can be used to read the energies surrounding the questioner's situation and give useful advice and guidance.
Tarot cards are one of the oldest methods of divination. Tarot decks may have existed with the Romans and is closely related to the development of the astrological signs, though no one knows their exact origins. Evidence of historical use of Tarot cards exists in countries as wide-spread as China, Iceland, the Philippines, Denmark, South Africa, and South America. The early symbolism of the pictures on Tarot cards may have come from Hebrew symbols and language. The Hebrew word "Torah", which signifies the Law of Jehovah, may be rooted in Romany Tarot; clearly there are times in history and places where Tarot is taken very seriously. In modern times, authors and artists have developed decks in other traditions, including Pagan, Shamanistic, Wiccan, Native American, and African.

How do I phrase a question for a reading?
If you have requested a tarot reading, the number one rule is to avoid yes/no questions. The tarot offers guidance and will best be able to answer questions such as, "What is the best way to handle the situation with?" or, "What is my best approach?"

For a standard psychic reading, you can ask yes/no questions and I will give you my strongest feeling for which direction a situation may go. Remember, nothing is etched in stone and you can change the outcome of your reading (see below).

Please note that I do not offer readings for questions relating to legal, medical or investment situations.

Can I change my destiny?
No one person can accurately predict someone's future for them -- people can only offer readings based on experience, instincts and intuition. In a way, we already know what our future holds. Some people have visions or dreams, others have a "gut feeling" about situations. You can change the outcome of your situation; nothing is etched in stone. Use readings for guidance and to help you decide how best to deal with issues. Don't think of a reading as unchangeable, only you can change your path.

What if I have further questions about a reading?
If after reviewing and thinking about information I send, you still have questions, e-mail me and I will try to help clarify the reading further. Please note that I can only help you with questions pertaining to the original topic. If you have questions on a different issue, please order a new reading.

Can I chat with you via phone or internet?
At this time, I am offering e-mail readings and will be adding AOL chat and phone chat in the future.

How long does it take to get an e-mail reading?
Usually, depending on my workload, I can get back with you within 24-48 hours (sometimes sooner) for e-mail readings.

How do I pay for my reading?
I accept PayPal for credit card and check payments. At this time, I do not accept payments via regular mail. To order a reading, go to the Readings page and follow the instructions for submitting a request and payment.

Please e-mail me if you have further questions about readings or how to order/pay for them.
